2015 has been a hectic year, but it has been a real pleasure over the last 6-9 months to be involved with two groups – the Otago Polytechnic School of Design, and the US and Canada-based company New Pedagogies for Deep Learning (NPDL).
The staff at the Otago Polytechnic made me feel welcome from the beginning, and in the process of teaching web design from the ground up to students I learned more than a thing or two also. Including developing an appreciation for how much work is involved in creating a learning environment for a classroom of students.
NPDL are a group that is passionate about creating innovation in learning that in effect creates a better world for all. More awareness of our world and of each other. I have enjoyed working through many a deadline with this highly dedicated crew.
